Вчера мой дрон упал в море и был наполнен водой. Я взял его и положил на рис на 15 часов, после этого беру и грею феном, после этого вставляю аккумулятор, но он не включается, поэтому я поставил его на зарядное устройство, и свет горел, но камера застрял, даже свет не горел. Может кто-нибудь помочь мне с этим, пожалуйста

К сожалению, ваш дрон восстановлению не подлежит. Морская вода является электролитом и может повредить электронику, особенно если дрон включен.

Yesterday my drone fell down the sea and was fill with water. I am experiencing the same issue.  Done a firmware update yesterday and today I had the drone in the air for 4 minutes and the controller had 4 green light and the app showed no RC connection.  No lights on now and will not charge either the charger I always used.

Any update on that?

How could DJI assume that it is not a manufacture issue? A bunch of reports telling the same problem with the same steps that made the RC stop working.
It has just happen to me, I was trying to update to the v01.07.0200 firmware when suddenly my RC turned off and I was not able to turn it on again.

Hi there. According to India's Import Policy, Drones are 'prohibited' except for R&D and defense use. There are no DJI Authorized Retail Stores in India to sell drones. So we cannot provide aftersales services for you. Sorry for the inconvenience caused and your understanding is highly appreciated.

I also have this problem ,mini 2 controller will not turn on nor any leds showing, following shortly after an update. The seem to be many many people with exactly the same problem so for dji to say send it in for diagnosis is unacceptable. It's obvious to them and us what it is, their update has bricked the remote rendering th he drone useless. I've heard people are sending their unit I  and being charged for repairs, this is unacceptable. We at the least have it fixed without fee.

Hello, im from Ecuador and i bought a Mini 2 Fly more combo from a third person, i bought it 1 year ago and recently had problems with remote control n1, it doesnt turn on, even the lights turn on but turns off quickly, i was gonna to buy a new control but it requieres to unlink drone and remote controller (which it cant) if someone has a fix i would like to know.

DJI please respond to the hundreds of affected users of your faulty RC's. It is clear that this is a manufacturer fault and needs to be corrected. Spent alot of money to buy your drone but now that the RC doesn't work ....it's useless!

Hello....What is the solution to this huge issue. I am not getting any response from DJI at all....online or in store. They keep on saying the same BS. I would really appreciate your guidance as it seems you have hands on experience with this issue.

The problem I have is my Remote Controller RC231 will not power on.

On 04-June-2024 I began to setup my camera drone for a flight after the Remote Control was fully charged with 4 green LED lights.

When I started DJI Fly app it prompted me to install a firmware update which I did as instructed.

Then my Remote Control went dead and now will not start up at all.

I checked on DJI Forum and this appears to be a common issue reported by users and which I expect DJI to repair at no cost to me.

I have had my Camera Drone since Feb-2022 and flown a total of 4 hours only - this fault is unacceptable after paying £545 for this camera drone.

DJI support suggest creating service repair request but because it out of warranty will be chargeable if hardware issue (even if firmware update caused failure).

Asked me to send video of what problem is but DJI are just saying words and cannot admit to a known issue with firmware update causing Remote Controller failures.

I have the same problem but get pushed from pillar to post. Issue is with these controllers but DJI arent taking responsibility for it. As you say, we've all spent alot of money to get our dream drone....now its useless. I am praying that DJI sort this massive issue out for its customers.

I am still in email conversations with DJI support. Here is my latest reply sent to DJI support:

My Remote Controller was working OK with the original DJI charger and original Camera Drone until I applied a firmware update that your company DJI suggested. Immediately after firmware update my Remote Controller is dead.

This was not caused by my use, accidental damage or any neglect on my part. I have taken exceptional care of my Mini 2 Drone since it was purchased, and I have kept it in pristine condition. It has only done 4 hrs flights time in past 2 years.

DJI knew about this problem through users on the DJI Forum. The forum topic I posted under (DJI Mini 2 RC Not Turning On or Charging) has had nearly 22,000 views and over 90 posts with a drone repair engineer even showing photos to DJI of what has been happening inside the remote controller.

DJI keep replying to me with lots of words basically suggesting I send Remote Controller back for diagnosis and quote for repair. I should not be paying anything for DJI to repair damage that was caused by DJI - regardless of any warranty period.

I and many users have reported that DJI caused the Remote Controller hardware (modules or motherboards or resistors, or circuit boards, or batteries, etc) to become failed as a result of firmware update - that is not a warranty issue at all - that is negligence by DJI.

It is clear that DJI have a duty of care in this matter regardless of warranty periods. That means users should have reliance that defective software or firmware update or usage instructions - known to cause serious damage - is not sent out to users then causing predictable damage that resulted.

It is unreasonable to expect me to send you my remote controller under unfair terms that allows DJI to hold me to ransom once the remote controller is in your possession unless I pay you for something I did not damage.

Bumping this thread. I've taken my DJI 2 mini on a total of 4 flights and my controller won't stay turned on while plugged into a USB-C charger. DJI still hasn't acknowledged that this is a widespread issue. Are we at least able to get these fault controllers repaired for free?

I am from Vietnam. I have owned a DJI Mini 2 for over a year, and it has been my pride and joy to have a drone from DJI. However, yesterday, I encountered a problem: the RC completely lost power, could not be charged, and showed no indicator lights after updating to the latest version as recommended by DJI. I was truly shocked when I discovered in this forum that many people, like me, have experienced dead RCs that won’t charge after updating to DJI's new version. As of now, DJI still hasn’t addressed this issue to protect the rights of its customers. We hope for a prompt and effective resolution from DJI before this issue grows in a way that could harm DJI’s brand worldwide. Wishing everyone here a quick resolution to this difficulty.
