I am puzzled, you had a wide open area from which you could take off and on which you could land yet the take off and land on a narrow bridge between two chain link fences, .......why do that?

The wooden bridge was the only nearby place that looked 'clean' (no dirt and debris stirred up from the drone).   I sometimes launch and land with a hand-catch, but didn't this time.  thanks.

I did wonder if that might have been a consideration .....brave chap coming down between those fences lol.

Interesting views of the lake and runoff.   As discussed, I think the handlaunch-and-catch would have been the easier option there.

Lovely location.    I bet there are some good fish in that lake.

I watched the kayak fisherman for half an hour but never saw him catch a fish.   But it still looked like fun.
