I have been looking for an app to do mapping on a dji mini 3 pro but, I have not seen a compatible app for mapping on the mini 3 pro?

Hello, there. Sorry for the inconvenience. Mavic consumer series drones do not support the surveying and mapping function. DJI does not intend to add this function later.
The reason for this is because the surveying and mapping function has high requirements for the aircraft’s positioning system and camera lens. Currently, DJI  Mavic series drones cannot support such a professional function. If the user has professional mapping requirements, recommend that they purchase a DJI Enterprise product (such as Matrice 300 RTK/Phantom 4 RTK).

Will there be any update where they will add that? Just curious

Also I am looking for a DJI drone under $1,000 that can do mapping. P.S. I am a consumer.

but the mini 3 pro can support surveying and mapping? if you release the sdk it will work, it's a sham, you're just pushing the Mavic 3 Enterprise

We are sorry that DJI Mini 3/Mini 3 Pro does not support waypoint flight or route planning functions. if you ask about the SDK release of the DJI Mini 3 Pro, then DJI Mini3 Pro supports Mobile SDK.

It is a pitty that with the latest updates the Mini 3 and Mini 4 Pro can do Mission flights for Mapping as well but the Mini 3 Pro not!
