Apparently the Mavic 3 (standard) wants to update.

Still not possible to buy M3P without RC, just shows how little dji cares about their present customers.

doesnt that come later?  there's a lot of new skus to deal with on day one.

what they have now is the drone + rc for $300 additional which isnt too bad if you really have to have the pro.

Couldn't agree more. However i had to order the M3Pro with RC regardless. Probably just have to sell the DJI RC

That's why it's now classified C2...

I completely agree. We also add the increased weight, the reduced flight time, as a direct consequence of the greater weight.
The only thing left to see from this drone is RAW photos from the main camera. Is the camera new or does it use the same module as the MAVIC 3 and MAVIC 3 classic. If the camera of MAVIC 3 PRO is the same, I won't even think about buying MAVIC 3 PRO.

Flying commercial it doesn’t really affect me, but when flying just casually you can be run into those who think you’re flying illegally. My plan was to hold on to M3 as well. Looks like it won’t arrive in Europe until late may.

Why wont the DJI FPV Goggles V2 work?  They're the same transmission system and both work on the Avata and FPV Drone, but for no reason (other than driving more sales) are not compatible with the Mavic 3?  C'mon DJI, stop abusing your loyal customers.

SO.... after the updates, can you use the goggles and regular stick controller or does one have to use the Motion Controller? (I prefer sticks)

Can't seem to update via the app or DJI Assistant 2. This is the error from Assistant 2 and I get a server error in the app.

I enjoyed getting my Mavic 3 Pro out and flying it for the first time today. As someone who has my Part 107 and does surveying, photography and other aerial work I was disappointed by this firmware version preventing me from being able to fly above 400 feet AGL. I changed the flight limit to the max (I believe 3240 feet if I remember right) and I still got limited to 400 feet AGL. I was flying around an obstruction and up mountains that required me to fly above that 400 feet AGL base from where my home point was. Will this be changed in the future firmware updates? This was a huge limitation to folks who survey, need to inspect tall obstructions or fly up hillsides.

We still need 10bit and D-log for both tele sensors on Mavic 3 pro.

We also still need to be able to reverse Ascend/Descend in the Custom controls menu, without also reversing another control on the DJI RC. Crazy you can't do that.

Did you ever get this to work? I am running into similar problems and in addition download speed is terrible. The slowness is on both the remote and through the DJI assistant which made me think my internet.  I checked my internet connection and it seems ok as I can download from other sites/services just fine. Speed tests are not the end all be all tests, but just for reference I am getting download rates in the 300Mb/sec range.

I’m surprised to see nobody respond to this new update yet. Maybe most posters are gone to bed or at work I guess (I am as well, but work from home). Anyone try this new update yet or even know what the fixes to “known issues” are??

Do batteries need to be updated?

Im more surprised that the update doesnt include some kind of D-log for the 166mm camera.
Seems that one thing is the universally recognised negative point on the M3 Pro.

True and because I’d that I’ve been experimenting comparing D-Log M and normal video. Still working on it….

What are the  known issues.

In looking for this and hoping for this I found this forum/thread and cannot agree more.  I'm surprised it's not a thing.  Hopefully it will be, and really soon, please!

There was an issue when clicking on x3 and x7 sometimes it whould show as x2 and even x1 for x3 and x7. The x's were getting confused. Maybe that's one issue that's been fixed.

The only thing that’s stopping me from upgrading to the pro version is the fact the non ciné drone only shoots in 8 bit on the 166mm lens when it’s clearly just a decision made by DJI to kneecap the lower priced drones when it’s not due to hardware issues

did you ever get it figured out. did the update capp your drone at 400ft agl?
Because I live in a mountainous area and thats not good for me at all. one of the main reasons for buying DJI over USA drones , was the ability to riase over objects higher than 120 m agl.

I hope they didn't But if DJI has capped our drones and limited them to 400ft agl. then there is no more updates for me.  Because that makes the DJI drones no better than the autels , or ruko f11 pros which are factory capped at 400 ft agl and limited to 100 m distance.
So If this is the case & that DJI capped the AGL distance then I'll make sure not to update my mav3.
looks like I'll be using the Aloft app more. I hate to take a chance being limited during flight or ending up flying in to the side of a mountain. or tree

I'll offer ya a $100 bucks for the RC if you do want to get rid of it. , I have like 3 of DJI rc-n1 controllers wouldn't mind getting a new DJI RC reasonable

Can someone tell me if the motion controller 2 can also be used to switch from 24 - 70 - 166 mm lens

And my brand, new, fresh out of the box, Mavic three Pro will not update. I have tried five times with the RC Pro, and 10 times with the desktop app. If I don’t get some support, I will return it tomorrow. The phone number for support is disconnected, and the online product support goes to a 404 page this is not what I expect when buying a $6000 package and drone with all the accessories.

Any ideas on future updates on 160mm camera to get LOG profile or at least control over saturation/sharpness? DJI why you did not think about it to have a constant color profile through all 3 cameras? It is kind of basic priority for filmmakers.
Also, could you produce a lighter battery that will be with drone in 900g ? Like you did with MINI3 for Japan (200g limit)

Dear sweetest DJI, when will there be a new firmware update for the Mavic 3 Pro? There are still a few wrinkles to iron out. Consider adding the telephoto lenses 10bit/dlog, and even more. I think 95% of users are eagerly awaiting this. Come on, this expensive drone deserves better.
