Can I model for you.....


So,   a little background,   I revisited a wood that is known for the blue bells and thought the drone would allow me to get some shots without trampling the wild flowers.   When I arrived the blue bells were in full bloom and no one was there.   A delight.


I took some normal shots and then took off with the drone,   and just as I did a voice behind me said,   ooh. can I model for your film.       She hadnt even seen the drone at that point.  Then there was some interest in the drone before the group disappeared off on their walk.

I didnt tell them about the IG,  I assumed they were too old,  perhaps I was wrong not to.

Bit later than dawn,  that was was 2 after doing the parents gardening so would have been about 11am.

Yes,  something like that,     it got silly busy there at one point,  I even found a kids ruck sack which I hung from a tree to get it out of the mud,   it was gone on my return to the car so someone found it.

No doubt someone found it or "claimed" it.  Anyway, sounds like it found a home.

I think it has something to do with the downward sensors.

I suppose I can turn those off and see what effect it has,    will need to be careful landing I suppose.

Ive not got round to getting it for the Mini2 yet, I probably should do that. It would be a better place to test atti and vps off.   Less to loose if I crash it.

All I know is that the M2 bounces around too much at low altitude.

I have a feeling some of my issue was poor GPS as I was inside the woods,  I tried it again in some open area and it wasnt a probably.

Next test will be Atti mode but I need to do that someone quite and really empty,   and I think somewhere I can sit down.

I flicked it into anti mode in the woods and very quickly switched out of it,    there is definitely a lack of position hold.

Not yet.   I need some time and space to test the special commands and I’m thinking I’ll get it for the mini 2 and use that for my tests.
