i dont think it would work as you need 360° video.

I'm considering the Headplay fpv goggles for $250 that will work with the phantom 3 w/hdmi out adapter however they are back ordered two months and they charge your credit card right away.  I was looking for a cheap alternative but it looks like there is none.
