Was that the Cork to Roscoff ferry?  This wasn't by any means our first visit, but it was the first time in a decade or thereabouts.

Cork to Rosslare. They didn't have he tunnel back then and it was cheaper to take the car on the ferry than for us to fly. Plus it was a big advantage having our on car to drive in

No. It was designed, built and flown by a lesser-known French aviator Henri Potez in 1933.
It is in the museum at Albert.  The Potez.36.

I love these.  Genuinely best thing to see on a Saturday morning!

Yeah, not something I want to experience ever again.  At least it rehabbed well so I have full strength and full range of motion back.
