The Challenge Thread.....

So I had a little idea,     a challenge thread if you will.  

How it will work,     the first person to reply with an image meeting the requirements gets to pick the next theme.   Then when someone replies with an image of that they get to choose the next theme and so on and so forth.

So to get the ball rolling,  I'll start you all off with the theme of a top down shot of an isolated car.  No buildings, people etc,   just a car a road or tarmac,  even grass.

Just to clarify the rules - is archive footage automatically exempt?   I don't claim this one as it's almost a year since that flight.

I have one in mind.  But I got wet in the bluebell wood this morning, so had to abort flying the drone. Lucky I had the Pocket2 as well.  A few more bluebells are out, but not quite the carpet that looks so good.

Another glorious day here,  better than the forecast predicted,  we just dropped in to the MIL on route to a new blue bell wood that it supposed to be good and then hopefully a rapeseed field flight.

I remember this one I did with the old Mini One - which seems like a decent challenge.  A freshwater pond with a little islet in it - and maybe even a construction (like this pigeonniere).  Just an islet would asuffice though.

I've abandoned hope of flying today

We had another really lovely day yesterday,    found a curious bluebell wood,   lots of flowers but I not sure as a wood I like it very much.   It's owned by the NT and after the 1987 storm they decided to do nothing in the wood as an experiment to see what nature did instead.       So most of the middle appeared to be very dead.   It felt like walking into a WW2 battle site.

Better than yesterday,   we did 7 miles along the canal which had been a lovely walk last year when we did the entire length over the course of several stages.  unfortunately on the way back the heavens opened and we had to shelter in some woods for a bit.  Then the paths were muddy, slippery and hard going for the rest of the way.  SHMBOd was not impressed as the forecast was for sun all day.

I mean, if the shot has to be made 'after' the challenge was announced, I'm ruled out.
I almost never fly, so I have to rely on my pile of previous captures.

I went out twice and got drizzled on twice, whilst Mrs.B stayed home and dry watching the snooker World Cup Final.

I'll have to go back with my Canon Powershot Pro1 and the tripod to get a better shot - if I can revive the battery. I haven't used the camera in a while.
