Like in my previous post, I tried to get a shot of the Flying Scotsman steam train coming through Somerset
I wish the shot had been smoother, but as there was another drone user nearby with their Phantom, I was trying to keep an eye on my drone, the video, and their drone too, which I think caused the sudden fast pan, a shame really but never mind.
For some reason the DJI Fly App also activated a 20 meter height restriction during the most important moment, despite no restriction being in place, another distraction - sods law
Still, it is fun to try and capture shots like this, and I've very lucky to live close by the line.
I never take that with me, unless I want to film something with it.
And never for stills. I don't like the output of the stills enough.
If I want stills, I use my DSLR or my iPhone (if I don't care about the quality).
P2 has no added value in my case for stills, just for video or motion timelapses.
(which I'm perfectly fine with, that is why I bought it)
And TBH, my priorities are elsewhere.
I like to do everything, but that does not work.

So I will stick to capturing interesting things 'at my time' until there is a significant and sustaining gap in my schedule
