1. Press the HOME button to enter the menu, select “User Settings”, and change “Press & Hold Right Hand Grip Trigger” to “Zoom”. (Note: It also supports changing “Press & Hold Right Hand Grip Trigger” into “Z-Axis Lock”.) At this time, press and hold the trigger of the right hand grip while rotate the dial to control the focus.
2. Press the Mode button on the right hand grip to set the dial for zoom control. When the lens focal length value turns into yellow, it indicates that the mapping is successful. At this time, turn the dial on the right handle grip to control the focus of the lens.
Note: It is required to update the firmware to v01.04.0200 or above to use these functions.

It requires you to switch the cursor to focal length parameters first and then you can use the hand grips to control zooming.
Method:
1. Enter the high-bright main monitor’s menu, and go to “Settings” - “Lens” - “Motor” - “Focus Motor Initialize” to complete the zoom travel calibration. No manual calibration or automatic calibration is required for the lens.
2. Go back to the home page and use the Mode button on the right hand grip to move the cursor to the lens focal length in the bottom right corner on the screen. This can control the zooming through the dial of the right hand grip
Note: Updating the DJI Ronin 4D firmware to v01.04.0100 is required.

no way. DJI forgot to do it with programmers. i need operate zoom with monitor but i have too walk to camera and do it every time. sucks

I would also like to hear back regarding this thread, it would be invaluable to be able to focus lenses via the HB Monitor. Both for the I3 (then you guys launch the awaited lens) and the Ronin 4D,
