At some point the prices have to come down, Im not keen on a second hand FPV as the batteries have such a short lifecycle.
I've noticed several people comment about the short battery life of the FPVs. I think that is because the way they are flown that the motors put a lot of stress on the battery.

Yes. I think it was something like 100 charges, which for a battery that lasts such a short time you're going to eat through quickly, Especially if Im flying it like I do the other drones.

Yeah, you'd have to start with 6 batteries for sure.
Well the grandson I was "thinking" of possibly getting an Avata for will not be getting it as a birthday gift. Unfortunately, during his test flights he got vertigo really bad both times. So he is going to stick to his Mini 3 Pro. Good thing he was able to test fly before I made a buying decision.

Good in some ways and bad in others I guess, at least you know.
Definitely. Would not have turned out well to have purchased the Avata as a gift and then he couldn't fly it. Not a problem as he really does love flying his Mini 3 Pro.

Did he get the chance to try the goggles and the Mini3 together, as that might have been a different experience?
