I'm so sick of these idiots that are flying near airports & interfering with firefighters doing their job. If you want to enjoy this as a hobby, by all means, do so, but do it in a responsible manner. There are a lot of us out there truly wanting to have this technology grow. There are many of us out there that are trying very hard to play by the rules & it would be very sad that we all have to end up paying for the mistakes of a few stupid people.

It is set in motion and you can not stop it from happening, just like a virus epidemic, dji made it possible for anyone that does not know $hit about flying go spend an affordable amount of money on a very capable flying machine that can go farther than the most complicated and hard to build analog systems which made people run away from and only real hobbiest stayed with, so all you can do is do your part and hope for the best, if this keeps on going i am going to abandon the whole hobby and look for something else to occupy my time with or move to an island and be its president.

I don't think those guys hang around places like here.

Well that is a good idea as we want to deter anyone from immigrating to my little island, so you would be the secretary of scare LOL

I wonder how hard it would be to have the NFZ part of the app to auto update?
Like it there is a wild fire someone at DJI or wherever uploads the cords and when people turn on the app to cache the maps it auto adds that area as a NFZ that expires in X days or whatever.
Yeah either a stupid idea or impossible to make happen, I know.
