And the funny thing is, he is making his way by filling up the hallways of the cellar with dirt.

My word they've been busy this week.

All great shots Peter.    You did a great job of documenting this project from start to finish.  I can't believe how fast he completed the job, especially while stacking items that can be re-purposed and keeping the job site so organized.

Quite a bit gone. What are they planning for that spot?

Yes it is. Last time I checked, there was no permit available on the town website.

I sort of assume they will either fill it with debris and compact that, or they will take everything out.
My guess is the first one.

Yeah, the first option sounds the most viable.  I'm really impressed with how quick he completed that project.

My old neighbour worked for a company that did it,  they had a bit of a system for it,  they would find houses on hills in and around London and then offer the house at the top of the hill to do it for free,  off course the water has to go somewhere so they lower house would get worse,   they would leaflet the area and use the first has as an example what they can do.  They generated a lot of work that way.

We thought about it, but first there are other things on the list.

I was going to put a mini cellar into my workshop,    basically you dig a big hole and slot in concrete pipes to form the walls,  sadly when I had it surveyed all the sewage pipes ran where it needed to go so I had to abandon the idea.

Our cellar could be (more) usable for sure, so I might consider it (if the price is right). Especially after the big upgrade to the living room, which will probably make it less of a spider nest, since there are 2 big holes in the cellar wall which lead to the space under our floor. Too small to crawl through, but spiders have no problems for sure.

No flying for me until at least end of this week.

Appears to be the rainy season in many parts of the world.  Scattered rain here off and on over the next few days also.

I got lucky.
I noticed 50% of NL was covered in rain clouds. But not our part (yet).
So I rushed to the site and found the digger crushing concrete.
Nice short flight before getting back to the desk.

Big big rain system moving very slowly over NL and just reached our location as well.

Sounds like you will be getting quite a bit of rainfall.  Stay safe, especially if any of those are thunderstorms.  We had 2 sailors get hit by lightening while running from there car to a building.

Yeah, we did. No thunder yesterday. But it was a lot of rain for sure.

Good thing about the rain is it will make the landscape in your area nice and green.
