Hi everyone I have a mini 2 and was out flying the other day after the app update and in my flight log I noticed it says 4563 feet away but in my screen record the app showed 315 feet away any idea why such a big difference the only thing I did not do was a compass calibration on my last flight could this cause this issue thanks in advance

Are you sure you are not mixing up height and distance entries shown in the app?

and post the URL here?

No .. the compass has nothing to do with height readings.
If the drone flew normally, there was nothing wrong with the compass.
It very rarely (almost never) needs to have the compass recalibrated.compass needed calibration, you'd have known it.

Your flight data might shed some light on your issue.

No ,,, It "couldn't just be an error"
See if there is an update isn't going to help at all.
It's most likely that every thing was completely normal and confirming whether that was true or not by examining the flight data would be the first thing to do.

Why bother to post here when you've completely ignored those that offered to help?
If you had posted your flight data, you'd have had a more detailed reply than DJI give and you'd have had it 10 days ago.

Well said but I am sure you have seen the same thing before and will again....... but not everyone wants to put flying locations out there on the www.

im sorry  i was under the impression that the flight log was for dji only its not that i ignored anyone i sent dji the flight log from the website airdata i think  but they said they needed it from the drone its self then i had a bereavement in the family so obviously that has taken priority hope you can appreciate this thanks

Not sure where you get 4563ft from but I am left wondering if you have mixed up 'mileage' i.e. the distance covered by the drone doing the flight, 4519ft, with a distance from the home point? The maximum distance from the home point appears to be 1144ft at around 3min 50sec i.e. at the tip of the nose.

Max height appears to be 324ft relative to the take off point and probably near enough AGL as well.

With regards to what DJI were/are looking for it sounds like the DAT from the drone and you may need to use the appropriate assistant 2  and a computer to get that.

i have dl drone assistant 2 but when i connect my mini2 nothing happens i have tried with it powered  on and off when its powered on the only thing that happens it it showes the micro sd card in the desktop on the drone assistant it just says how to connect to inspire 2?  and i am logged in but  i can not get the data required

Forget about getting anything to DJI.
It's not needed.

Look at the data there and you can see that the maximum distance shown anywhere during the flight was 1144 ft.
There was never anything wrong with the drone and it was just confusion.
