Hey,
I've recently purchased a Mini 3 Pro from amazon and setting up the drone was fine but when starting the drone for flight I got an error - which stayed during flight too.

(Downward vision sensor error. Contact DJI Support for assistance (Code: 1A0100C1) )

Landing seemed ok - albeit a bit slow. Lighting conditions were good and correct altitude reading. The error only appeared after the props were spinning.

i've tried refreshing the firmware, recalibrating the compass and IMU. When I tried recalibrating the vision sensors using DJI assistance 2 on my pc I noticed the top-down vision sensor was not showing an image on the lower left of the screen compared to the bottom-down sensor, I was unable to complete the calibration due to that. Seems like I have a faulty sensor on arrival.

Wondering if anyone knows this error code? Can't find it anywhere online or in manuals. And is this fault only fixable if I were to submit a service request? . .DAT log files are encrypted so unable to find out the root cause myself.

May we confirm if you are experiencing the same error as the original poster? If yes, try performing calibration with DJI Assistant 2 to try to isolate the issue. if the issue persists after you have taken the troubleshooting step, you may have to send the aircraft back to DJI for further inspection.
