Have you seen the occasional posts on here by SgtRay?   He and his buddies do drone chasing of various model aircraft. Quite spectacular.

have not seen them here is same avanti on electric power before i put a turbine in it.

Nice model and looks like it could be very fast.

Pretty impressive. Skillful flying and landing too.  I'd probably stuff it into the ground..
My droning has always been about video and photos, rather than the thrill of zooming about
Which is why I'll probably not get an Avata from DJI.

There's one Ive seen a few time that gets flown straight up (like a rocket) until it stalls and recovers.

Looks like a very fun model to spend time with. Would it be possible to mount a cockpit camera on that, or is the cockpit just a cosmetic decoration? I'm sure many of my friends and relatives would be very excited to fly something like that

Yes you could put a cam inside but to be honest at 200mph it would not capture much

turbines can flame out on vertical stalls so never tried it lol

I see your point. Quite amazing that it can reach such high speeds. Would be really cool to own one, though I suspect it would crash and burn as quickly if I tried to fly one
