Very novice when it comes to photo and video editing. What are your favorite tools to use for a beginner in terms primarily of photo editing?

I am still working out the use of many of the settings and trying to grasp the how and when to utilize many of the mini 3 pro features and adjustments that can be made to caputure better photos.

Discloser.. I have no ND filters yet nor do I have the wide angle lense. Just the standard setup of the mini 3 pro.

Just a simple edit using photos on my mobile allowed for this change attached with the first image being untouched and second applying some enhancement.

Any tips, rules, or info you all can share is greatly appreciated! I see some amazing pictures being shared and know I have aot to learn to improve the photos I am capturing.

I do like the lower exposure and darkness of the unedited version as it highlights the light in the water I was focused on, but I did wish there was more of the colors that were present to the naked eye I was seeing that the drone did not capture (user error I'm sure)

In totally unrelated news... How do you change your name on here? Not able to on my mobile devixe app. Do I need to get on my computer or do you have to reach a certain level? If levels is there a post somewhere that shares what levels you have to be to reach certain unlocking of features here in the forum?

I prefer the first one. For photos I use Affinity Photo (though I don't take many and usually don't bother with RAW), for video Final Cut Pro X. I find that DJI drones mostly have rather blue colors and I pretty much correct every shot in my videos. In the next pics I prefer the edited one.

And the first of these 3 as well.  The third shot is perhaps a little dark.
If you want to experiment a little, you could try  a couple of free apps before parting with cash.
G.I.M.P.  Open-Source  for photos is one I have useds for a while.
And for video, BlackMagic's Davinci Resolve 18.

+1 for using Affinity Photo for editing stills.

Nice shots.   To change your user name on the forum you need to be on a PC or laptop.  Just scroll down to settings under your name in the left column and then you can change your username and set an avatar (or picture).
