As a new owner of the M30T, is was wondering why the software package of the thermal setting is missing the MSX (Multispectral Imaging) that was a feature found in the Mavic 2 ED.

This is a great aid for doing thermal surveys? This feature provides additional clarity and information  by providing details from the visual image overlaid on the thermal image.

Thank you.

Because they want you to purchase the M3 Multispectral.

Hi

The MSX technology is a FLIR based technology. After the split with FLIR, DJI has been making their own sensors and therefor it doesn't include proprietary technologies.

In general the MSX feature is used for smaller sensors such as the Dual with it's 160 pixels and should not be needed with the larger sensor size.

It is not multispectral imaging but simply added contours and edges on top of the thermal imaging to make it more clear.

Thank you for the clarification. I believe DJI refered to it as MSX for the M2E. It was a nice feature to to be able to see the contours in the the imaging.

This has nothing to do with multispec.
