Yes, I have experienced it (noise) recently, a neighbor built a home across the street and it took three contractors, over a year for a modular home that was brought in on a flat bed.

Yeah, we have 4 projects going on in our street (my house included) so I know about building noises.
I personally don't mind as long as it is between 8-19 or something.
And sometimes they have to meet a deadline and we talked about this (as neighbors) beforehand and that's ok. Try to stick between 8-19 unless you can't.
So far so good.

Glad to hear you guys have an organized voice. My experience was not as fortunate, we suffered because of poorly made decisions. As you know time is money and contractors will take advantage, if no one is watching. Good for you to have stepped up.

I hope so.
I'll move on to the next part soon. Removing the radiators.
But first call my plumber if I have to think about anything before I do that.

I really hope you don't run into any issues with old plumbing pipes.  Will be a good opportunity to clean out the radiators really good once they are uninstalled.

Underfloor heating will be even better I'd think.  Is there any cost difference in operating underfloor as opposed to radiators?

You can lower the temperature of the water, which makes the boiler more efficient and makes it better for heat pumps as well (since they usually only provide up to 40 degrees efficiently).
And it is very comfortable.

Absolutely.
Oh and the other setback is that I have 1.20 meters of foundation + sand where I need some holes.....
And there is all kinds of plumbing and cables in that area too, so I have to go underground to remove even more.
Not looking forward to that.

Yikes, between those 2 things that is a sizeable setback.  Hopefully, you'll come up with the easiest and most efficient fix.  Sorry to hear that but I guess with the age of the house there had to be a few hidden things pop up.

I was expecting it, since we realized the new foundation was not exactly next to the old one, but I was expecting maybe 40cm of sand in between, but they made it something like 60 or even more (depending on the width of both foundations.
But I'm hiring a guy with a big drill that can drill 14 cm wide holes and we will try to push a 12,5 cm pipe through those and hopefully push through the sand while rotating the pipe. But we will see.

That's sounds like quite the complex process.  I hope you get positive results.
