“Flying door” is the bald eagle’s nickname. With its wingspan of up to 2.5 meters, that is not surprising. For a long time it was only a rare winter visitor in the Netherlands, but nowadays it even breeds in the Netherlands.

PS, that site is very weird. Constant push notifications and other things that are not so good for your PC.

Any sort of clean up is a pain,     good news is that its all glued up and ready for a final 240 grit sanding,  then I'll clean up again,   sheet up the workshop and spray them in varnish with my 2mm spray gun.

I've applied a lot of varnish over the years but never with a spray gun.  I just never mastered the art of using a spray gun.  I tried with regular paint a few times but I usually got on too heavy of a coat or too light in some areas.  I'm just much better with an expensive brush.

Spray guns are a bit of a fine art for sure,  but not the spraying part,   it's all in the right gun, the right pressure and the right dilution of the paint.     With the varnish I spray without diluting but with a big nozzle.  with lacquer (like car clear coat) I use a much smaller nozzle and think 30-40% depending on the weather.   

Other paints are trial and error until I lock in the settings.

No doubt.  Kind of like different brands of paint and different thicknesses.  I used some "marine paint" on some cleats on my dock and it was a thick as tar and that was even after I had shaken the can for about 5 minutes and stirred it with a drill attachment.  I've never seen paint that thick before.  I did call back to the store and ask and was told that was normal for marine paint.

Spam just seems to keep getting worse.  Between spam emails and spam texts it's enough to keep you frustrated.  I'm continuously blocking numbers when I get spam texts.  I've been able to set up some good filters for my email which keeps my junk mail folder pretty full.  I usually just scan it quickly and then hit the delete all button.

I've come to the conclusion that there is no end in sight with spam.  Just have to deal with it best we can.

There a few paint ive used like that,  the stuff on my workshop flat is epoxy based two part system and for that I just choose a brush I dont want to keep or thats cheap.

I wish I had done that (cheap brush) with the stuff I put down.  Lesson learned for sure.
