I need some help. I just bought the DJI FPV drone less than a week ago and I can not get it to get above 33mph. I have tried everything I have seen in other threads like changing settings and calibrating. Nothing has worked. I have called into DJI Customer support and it was pointless. Absolutely zero clue to what they are doing. Left my name and number to speak to a supervisor. I'm about to just send it back for a refund, but I certainly would prefer to fly this thing in Sport at 60mph. I had a friend buy his drone yesterday and he flew it 62mph in Sport on his first flight.

what remote are you using, rc2 or mc?  have you tried to max the speed in different locations just in case your particular spot had an issue?  did you buy the drone new or used?  how do you know for sure you are in sport mode, does it say that in the goggles?

completely agreed, an fpv with max speed of only 30+ mph is not a dji fpv and is missing all the fun.

Yes my drone is brand new, and its in Sport with the rc2. My spot doesn't have an issue because my buddy just bought his yesterday and did 60+ in Sport out of the box.

Finally fixed!! I didn't realize it goes into N mode with a battery change so I needed to toggle that switch. Got up to 64mph. Man what a difference experience!

So user error and blame dji? Lol. Maybe check to make sure you are in sports mode and not normal mode b4 bashing on dji.

Yeah clown! It was my error, but that doesn't take away from the fact that their Technical support reps have zero idea of how to actually troubleshoot anything. You would think a real support rep would be able to handle this quickly. I talked to 4 people and none of them knew what they were doing. They just type in questions to their screen and then answer. Smh

Are you blind?

About 80% of this forum is made of posts like the OP here... It is called "play first, RTFM after"....

Still it doesn't help when either the customers or the DJI technical service department, have got no clues about what they are trying to do...

But it's okay for you to blast on him?

yep, you have to check the setting you see in the googles since the setting on the rc may not be accurate depending on when the drone was powered up/battery changed/drone landed/etc.

i hear you, dji fpv stuck in N not only is slow but also has sensors activated making it a mode suitable only for slow, nice and controlled flying in tight unfamiliar places.
