Yes indeed, unfortunately I did not notice it while flying, missed a good opportunity to get a little closer shot, thanks for the comment and watching.

I don't know what to call it, but I have seen it quite a few times in the desert while I was there, just like a tornado a dust cloud swirling straight up, never got a chance to see up close what it is, but sure looks like a mini tornado.

Like you said, hard to say, but I doubt it's because of car since it's going straight up while a car will create a dust cloud, sort of. I've seen it other places in the middle of desert too, no idea what it is though.
