This is Stamford in Lincolnshire, and the bridge carries the road over the river Welland.

Yes, there's a huge scaffolding around it.   Very possibly re-pointing the joints of the stone walls.
And yes, that statue is on a building just a couple of hundred metres up the road from the river.

At least my old eyes didn't fool me this time.    I was just guessing that the statue was in the same town.  After a little googling I found it, albeit a bit differing angle of view.

Took two days to clean the bottom of the boat.  I spaced it out a bit but I was a bit sore the morning after as I haven't used some of those muscles for a while.  No ache or pain from the clavicle area though.  I've got full range of motion and strength back.  

I bought a couple of dozen more bass and crappie to continue stocking the pond I had enlarged.  I did have to cut down a tree next to the pond that the gusting winds blew down.  Fortunately it missed the new fence I had put up around the pond.

Made 6 dives in the last 10 days so it's great to be back to making bubbles.  I also broke out the jetski and hit the waves full throttle to give it a good break-in after sitting up all winter.  I had forgotten how fast it burned gasoline at full throttle.    Anyway, good to get out and do things bringing me closer back to a normal routine.

Unfortunately, I made a to do list while I wasn't supposed to be doing too much lifting and the list got long so I wanted to knock it out quickly so I could go back to my normal easy going retirement routine.

Trust me, I'm going to do my best to stay accident free, but....I can't promise anything.  You know how my luck has been going (shot by spear gun, broken clavicle).  Hope things don't come in 3s.

None that I saw. But walking back across the village green I came across a duck with her little ducklings.  Tried filming them with the pocket 2 with limited success - they waddled off as I approached.

We've not seen any ducklings here yet,  although there is a lack of ducks too,  so we might still be waiting for them to hatch around here.
