Have you ever woken up at the gold course???

Early start today so I went a flatter route and enjoyed the sun coming up over the gold course.

thanks Mr B.    I had to get up extra early as SHMBOd was heading into the office today.

Lovely shot. Even though the sun is pretty far up it's still golden. Maybe a slight mist...

There was more mist when I first left the house but it was quickly burning off.   This was about 6:15am.

I dont know if it's just getting older or its the roads but driving any distance these days takes it out of me more than it used to.   But then the roads are much busier and there are more loons about

Since we came back to the UK, I do very little driving. But a run out into the countryside occasionally is enjoyable.  I was all set to go out with the Mini3Pro this morning (on foot) but was rained off before I'd reached the end of the road.

I was lucky with the weather this morning,      but it was cold cold cold.


Took my other car out yesterday for a spin in the sunshine,  and I have to say you forget how fast the grip the thing is.  It's now back safely under its cover.

Floor sweepings mainly I understand,  it's all the bits that dont get used to make leaf tea,  or at least thats the myth.

That doesn't sound good and an easy way to get people sick for sure.  I say keep your old floor sweepings and only give me tea.

I have to admit I've drank my fair share of coffee over the years and probably way too much during my Navy career.  After all the Navy tends to run on coffee.

Nearly every town here of any size will have a course and then a few extra dotted around between each town in the country side.    Must be more popular here than in NL.

I know one that is relatively close by (10 min drive). But I have only seen the sign, never gotten close.

I don’t play myself.  But I’ve been to golf courses a few times for work events,  like product launches and the odd wedding reception.

No doubt.  Those submariners seem to have some really wild stories.  I salute them for their service as I couldn't have done it.  I need to be on the surface and not submerged for months at a time.
