Hey all, I have read through a few posts about screen covers for the RC. I put a glossy one on and feel that it was a bit tough to view in direct sunlight. I do not have any experience with matte covers with any of my other various screens so have a few questions. Are they noticeably better in sunlight? Is there any degredation of image quality or brightness? Any issues with touch screen operations? And finally, if matte is the way to go, any brand recommendations? Thanks!

I have glossy too but Im also using one of these which helps a lot with the glare.

I use the STARTRC Mini 3 Pro Anti-Glare Matte Tempered Glass Screen protector and it works great.  No issues here in the bright Florida sunlight and no issues with touch response.

Am also using a matte screen protector - it's way better now with hardly any reflections.   You lose a bit of "sharpness" due to the frosted effect of the screen, but the reduction of the reflections outweighs this easily.

That's a good hood option. I was trying to avoid something like that though.

The shade doubles as a guard for the sticks,  so you dont have to keep taking them on or off all the time.

I have used Matte on a tablet before and removed it, it actually lowers the quality and brightness. Its like viewing through a light fog, whilst it did help with glare, that was negated  by the fact that it was a bit harder to see the live view
