We're entering a dry period now after 4 weeks without any rain.
Still windy and relatively mild temperatures, but that is about to change.

Well, as usual the weather guessers got it wrong as it turned out to be windy and rainy.  Oh well, I had plenty of indoor chores to get done.

I hope we will keep it dry for 7 more days. Then I should have the new paint job done.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you to have nice weather so that you can successfully complete your paint job.  Painting was never my favorite thing to do but sometimes it became a necessity.

There is some rain on the forecast, but we'll see how it goes.
As long as the first 2 coats are on, I'm ok.

Well let's hope you get at least two coats on then.  Are you spraying, brushing or rolling?

Brushing.
I don't have a sprayer.
And rolling is too thin for outdoor with the paint I'm using.

Ahh, the good old fashioned manual way.  At least that way you know the coats are going on evenly.  I always struggled with spraying and trying to keep even coats and not overlapping too much, or leaving light coat areas.

Wow, that is a summertime type temperature.  Wish I could send some of the excess rain from here over your way to preclude the drought.  We've had more than our fair share.

We went from very wet to very dry in no time. It has to do with the jet streams that are not powerful enough and make high-pressure regions stay in place longer.

I think the same has happened here on a couple of the occasions, especially when the jet stream dips way low into the US and brings us some of the colder weather from up north.

At least they have models to help guide the weather guessers.  Years back it was really more miss than hit on the forecasts.

Indeed they are.  Speaking of weather I just saw where we are expecting another cloudy day with 85% chance of heavy rains.  Good thing I have several indoor projects that I can work on today.

No doubt droughts are not fun to experience.  We continue to have an abnormal amount of rains.  The rainy season here used to be pretty much April but not anymore.

Normally, and I stress normally, April is the rainy month here.  This year it has been April, May and now into June.

Charged up batteries but rain never let up long enough to get a flight in.  So settled for a short dive instead.
