Just got my drone today from amazon DJI Store.

Controller will not indicate power or show power meter.

Drone seems to charge and power on.

I am not sure if DJI would rather handle this or should I return the drone to amazon

Probably quicker to return to Amazon, if you complain to amazon about being without the product, they may ship it straight away whilst waiting for you to return yours, if you don't then you will end up being charged for 2, I had to do that with my Mini 2 due.

how about this,
i have tried the quick then long push,
i have tried the 15 sec push,
ive tried just one quick push,
no lights, no blinking lights no steady lights.

lets assume what i say is true and factual, what would your next step be based on information given?

Sorry for the late response. Are you still having the same issue? If yes, you may consider sending the unit in for a proper diagnosis. You may submit a ticket case at https://repair.dji.com/repair/index  . Also, the warranty can be applied depending on the outcome of the damage assessment including the warranty period of your unit.
