I agree on the priorities.    Over the years I learned to be quite the cook, or at least I think I am.    One of my favorite things to make is Spanish Paella.  Goes good with a nice red wine.

We headed north yesterday for a little trip up the coast,    not for only 86miles but the roads that way are really slow so it takes 2 1/2 hours to get there,  Sadly the wind was blowing at 35mph which made the fossil hunting we planned a bit unpleasant.    I was hoping to snag a sharks tooth or two but we came away with only a few nice examples of fossilised wood.

I guess that depends on your definition of deep draft.   Most boats here only have a meter or so,   but then the creek does empty to an inch or so at best.

All depends on the size of the boat and the design of the hull.  My mini-yacht needs a minimum of 1.8 meters whereas my 22 foot runabout only needs .8 meters.

At low tide I dont think either of those boats are going anywhere here.,   You'd need a sup.

So I'm assuming most boat owners in that area must keep an eye on the tide schedules or else they will not be going anywhere on their boat.

Yep,     thats the way for any of the boats in the creeks and sand flats.    I did make some years ago a tide clock.

Oh dear. Better luck next time. It has been quite windy in here lately,too. Did see a small air vortex, too. Luckily nothing threatening, but clearly noticeable by eyes.
