What Remote ID module should I get for my MAVIC AIR 2?

You also need to add Remote ID module information such as make, model, and serial number to the FAA drone registry. According to the FAR Part 89 Remote ID regulations, the RID compliance for American users starts from September 16, 2023. Before that, the FAA RID regulation does not affect the user’s flight activity. You may check the FAA website at https://www.faa.gov/uas/getting_started/remote_id/drone_pilots .

Is there a particular brand or part number for the module? I cannot find one.

Has anyone been successful with a lot-cost RID unit?  I like the DroneTag BS, but am curious about your hookup to the DJJI Phantom line.  I can throw a battery and antennae on it, but wasn't sure if there was a better approach.

Will the Mavic Air 2 be updated to provide this feature, or are we having to add a separate module to bring the MA2 into compliance with US regulations?
