What you guys think about carrying your P3P with the propellers on? Maybe the cracks on the body shouldn't appear, as you don't screw and unscrew the propellers every time before and after flight? Please share your opinnion

Best regards,

you dont need to be putting that much torque to put props on or off, therefore i dont belive that would cause any cracks

Agreed...don't think prop removal/installation is causing an unnecessary forces that would create the cracks.

I screw them on then hand tighten lightly and they have never flown off.
If you carry and store your DJI with the props on, especially with prop guards,  you are probably inducing additional stress on the arms.  How much?  Who knows?.
Also during steep descents I always induce forward motion to avoid vortex ring which can shake your DJI right out of the sky and add mucho stress.

I think it has to do with the brake settings on the p3 and it puts a lot of pressure on it trying to brake so quickly.  I adjusted the brake settings and haven't had any cracks.

I've been curious about the cracks on Phantom 3 series. Now I have to check what are the default settings of the brake on my own.

I guess that blows that theory.  Are your props balanced? That will cut down on vibration.

Hi,

Yes props are balanced as well. After i found the cracks i opened the P3 and used the Bondic glue on all 4 arms. No more cracks since 50 flights.

It sounds like you came up with a good fix.  Hopefully DJI can prevent this issue in the future.

At least i hope its a good fix. I will see if it holds during winter time. One thing i know that i will never ever buy a DJI product again if they dont change their customer service.

I think they know a lot of people won't and are making huge strides to get better.    Only time will tell.
