We last visited Chatsworth Gardens a couple of years ago.  But we've not been inside the house for possibly 30 years.

That's such a beautiful manor.  No doubt the grounds crew is kept quite busy.  That almost makes me want to sell my boat and get a manor like that.   On second thought, no, at least my boat can change the local scenery as I desire and I can keep it up for the most part myself.  I'm thinking the interior staff of that manor has to be quite sizeable.

My swmbod's ancestors worked at Chatsworth. Mine were too cheap and qualified for the free passage courtesy of the King.

That sounds really good.  I'll definitely keep it in mind for my pre-planned trip for next summer.  I may do an extended trip as in a month or two.  Would like to start in France and then do the UK and Scotland again.

Yeah, that is going to be the hard part in trying to gauge how much time at each location.  I'll keep doing lots of due diligence and research and hopefully be able to come up with a viable plan.  However, I'm going to try to still make my travel plans as flexible as possible.

Yes, I've seen that and it is very helpful.    I'm also making a spreadsheet showing visiting hours, etc.

It will be.  However, it will only be a guide to help me plan times at each desired location and transit times to next destination, etc.  Since I'm retired I no longer have to keep to a detailed schedule like I did before retiring.  Judges were never forgiving of you showing up late to court so I always strive to be early vicce planning to arrive right on time.
