When I try to do a motionlapse with with "way point" mode and the movement is both pan and tilt and not just pan from side to side I notice a small roll in the final result. It's not as smooth as I would like it to be.

I'm using the latest firmware.

The issue can be seen here at approximately 0:23

Am I doing anything wrong or is this to be considered normal?

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out and we're sorry for the trouble. Can you please try to perform the gimbal calibration on your unit and take it to a test again to see if the issue persists? Please keep us posted. Thank you.

I tried a calibration and I've only had time to do one timelapse but it seemed to work. I will test it some more and report back here within a couple of days if problem returns.

Thank you for keeping us posted. We're glad that the unit worked as normal after the gimbal calibration. Please don't hesitate to reach us if you encounter the same issue again. Thank you for your valued support.

Hej!
Nice timelapse.
I have had these small bumps too with my Pocket2.
I think there is something which confuses the Pocket and makes it move.
Maybe wind, or an insect.

PS, I think you used the default output from the Pocket 2.
If you want to get the most out of it, you could try setting it to DNG and manually create your timelapse.
It is quite a bit of work, but the end result is usually much better.

Hej!

Thanks! :-)

Well, after recalibrating the gimbal the following timelapse where without the glitch. However I need to perform more tests.

I actually use RAW or PNG and combines them in Premiere when I need more quality, in this case the quality was enough to display the issue.

That is good to hear!
I hope to be capturing motion timelapses in Sweden soon again during our next summer holiday.

That sounds like a plan, what parts of Sweden are you visiting?

Tiveden.
This has been our destination for 7 years already.
We found 'the best' campsite (for us) there and love to come back .

But we have seen 'all' of Sweden in previous holidays.
I call it 'my home away from home' after about 35 visits.
