Is it possible to disable the creation of .LFR files on the SD Card?
I'm using the Mavic 3 Pro & RC Pro Controller, if that makes any difference.

Hi, MS. Thank you for reaching out. Regretfully, there is no option to turn off/disable the LRF files. This file is important to the video playback experience.

Would be nicer if they were in a separate folder though, even if "important"

That's a great idea. When you land, you just delete the entire LFR folder and save GB's of valuable space

Hi, BrianKushner. This is a low-resolution file generated simultaneously when recording, and LRF files are MP4, which can be viewed by any media player actually. Hope this helps.

My life is spent deleting these useless files. We need an option to not save these as they do take up space on the cards and ultimately wastes space.

I know what they are. In the past they could be disabled or not there. My question is why are they so important they can't be turned off?

Exactly, they weren't there before.

The release of DJI Fly seemed to bring in these files and I think they're the previews you can see in the editor. Stupid, unnecessary files.

Hi,  BrianKushner. If the .LRF file is deleted then the Playback function is not supported. This is a low-resolution file generated simultaneously when recording, and LRF files are MP4, which can be viewed by any media player actually. There is no option to turn it off but you have an option to delete those files. This file is important to the video playback experience.
