When is DJI Virtual Flight app finally going to be updated? It’s unusable with its issues which are well documented.

Hi, Waldo4280. Thank you for reaching out. We currently don't have any information on when the next update will be released for the DJI Virtual Flight. Can you please tell us the issue/s you're having with the app? Thank you.

I think the issues are well documented by other threads in this forum:

• extremely pixelated and blurry view in goggles;
• the app is no longer compatible with any iOS version on devices, so far as I can test back to on 15.7

In the meantime while nothing  is being communicated to customers, we can only assume that nothing is being done and it therefore leaves your customers in a position that we cannot use the app to train our muscle memory to fly  virtually in any modes. The deafening silence on any meaningful reply, other than a copy/paste response is woefully pathetic.

today is 245 day after last update (28.9.2022) of DJI Virtual Flight
today is 65 DJI "Virtual Flight non working day" on iOS 16.4+ devices (27.3.2023)
in my opinion this is an world record and you HAVE TO fix it.

last year you DID the same when apple upgraded iOS...

just do your job. no talk, no write, no lie .. just fix the app!

This is caused by a compatibility issue with the DJI Virtual Flight when the iPhone is updated to iOS 16.4, you may try using a lower iOS system for checking. We are actively communicating with related manufacturers to resolve this issue. Please rest assured.

DJI Virtual Flight does not work on any iOS device! You really need to look at what people are posting in reply to the app not working. I’ve tested down on iOS devices down to 15.7 and it does not work. So don’t give you copy/paste reply of try another device with an iOS version less than 16.4!

It’s honestly a horrid customer experience. I’m a Senior UX Designer and I work with squads who design, code and release updates for a web app experience. Sometimes things do take discovery, dev and regression testing to release features/updates for customers, but with that comes estimation which is working out the scope, effort and cost of time to improve the customer experience.

What’s missing from DJi is transparency of what’s going on. Instead we get copy/paste rubbish replies which are tone deaf and ignore the problem. It’s just pathetic. And if I was in part responsible for this in my job, I’d be answering some important questions to those I report to.

So the DJI Store app has an update, number 2 or 2 things as feature updates is “conveniently request services”. Can I make a request to push an update for the DJI Virtual Flight app!

Are you serious!? You haven’t read anything that people have posted in this thread have you? The app doesn’t work, it’s blurry and pixelated to hell! And stupid copy and paste replies by admins to try devices with earlier iOS than 16.4 doesn’t work, because on an iPad at iOS 5.7 doesn’t even work. I’m sensing that for an admin to ask this when it’s blatantly obvious that nothing is being done.

Surely as an admin you take back problems that people are calling out in this forum to get escalated, or is your role nothing more than an Admin?

today we celebrate 100 days of "DJI Virtual Flight” defect.

which was updated 280 days ago ...
problem started when apple upgraded iOS to 16.4+ version (27.3.2023 exactly 100 days ago).


DJI team has been doing nothing to fix it for last 100 days.
