Can't livestream using iPhone's hotspot

For some reason I am unable to hotspot my iPhone (T-mobile) to my action 2 to livestream. I've gone through the obvious troubleshooting steps like setting the personal hotspot setting on the iphone to Discoverable. I have no issues hotspotting my iPhone to other devices that I own. The Action 2 also has no problems with livestream when using wifi.
Any clues as to what's going on? There are absolutely no answers anywhere online for how to solve this issue.

Hello, sorry for the late response.
Our engineers would recommend you check whether you set the hotspot to invisible or you can test whether other mobile devices can connect to the hotspot normally.
