I took my wife to Rock Island State Park which is at the upper tip of Door County, Wisconsin. The park is only accessible by ferry (two actually) and there are no cars or bikes allowed on the island.  
We camped for three nights in relative isolation.  The last ferry for non-campers leaves at 4:15 pm.  After that you will see people, but they are pretty spead out.

I find a 360 pano much more immersive than a few stills. Possibly my favourite medium

Lovely 360.  What an amazing location for camping and getting away from city life.

From what I observed, I think so.  There were a few people with poles on the island.  Also there were tons of pelicans feeding about 200 feet off the shore.   

If I were to guess there are spots with structure which would make for good fishing.  You would just have to find them.  The best way to fish there, in my novice opinion would be from a boat.   From the shore there are large stretches of clear water with with smooth stone bottoms.   So I think the fish would be at the drop of points.  Or just follow the pelicans!
