First outing for the Mavic Mini 3 Pro and actually seems smoother to fly than my other drones. Then again imagination is a wonderful thing...

Funny, when I pranged the P3P and went to the P4P I initially wasn't too happy but it quickly became the default (over the P3A). Then along comes the M2P and it's great but always default to the P4P in heavy winds. I suspect this little M3 is going to become the defacto if only because of its weight and footprint. Onwards and upwards...

Yeah, but he's going to enjoy the learning curve, and discovering all the cool features

Very nice first flight.    No doubt you re going to love the Mii 3 Pro.  For such a small drone it is quite the beast.

the Mini 3 Pro is usually the drone I grab to take out and fly unless the winds are up then I'll pull out the Air 2S.  Speaking of the Air 2S I'm anxious to see what the Air 3 will bring to market.

Can be an expensive hobby for sure.  Speaking of the lottery, I don't play often but about 4 months back I bought two scratch offs and won $3,000 US.  99% of the time I lose, which is why I don't play very often.

Don't worry about anything and fly. Fly a lot and learn from your mistakes and the mistakes of other users. Everyone had their first drone at some point and everyone had to learn something. Good luck
