im thinking about sending the link to one of the davinci resolve experts and asking them if they could offer any ideas on how this can be done.  will let you know if anyone responds.

That is great @The Saint!  I consider myself fairly good at being able to get the shot I want, and proficient at editing, and would love to emulate this video to some degree.  Just a place to start would be great.

Hi, KnNLmS. We currently don't have information about this however, we can forward this as a suggestion. Please note that the user used the current feature which is Spotlight mode and switched between the three different lenses: 24, 70, and 166mm, creating a zoom-in and zoom-out effect that mimics the fast-paced robot arm movements to create that kind of video.
