This is a feature in GS Pro that is incredibly useful for planning survey missions and is sorely missed in Pilot 2. Being able to import kml/kmz point files, turn them on and off at will as reference layers, and then draw a flight plan on top of them is far more flexible than only being able to import a kml/kmz polygon file once and having the mission planned for you.

DJI: Please consider adding this functionality to Pilot 2 given that GS Pro is being discontinued. Thanks!

Have you tried the Pilot 2 MbTiles? I find the function much better than KML.

Thanks LV_Forestry for that tip! It took a little trial and error but I was able to generate the MBTiles of my vector layer using QGIS and followed your steps for adding it to a project. The symbology of the points is a bit grainy in Pilot 2 for some reason but as I'm only using them as a reference it's not all that important.
