There's a great walking trail runs around the edge of that village  (the old railway bed).

Very neat and tidy. And open for anyone to walk in and look around.  Quite simple and spartan.

Now thats unusual around these parts,  growing up all the churches (not methodist) were open during the day to look around,  but now they are mostly closed.

It's popular with cyclists too. Being largely flat or only gradual gradients it lends iteself to either activity.

No rain in the forecast yesterday so decided to wash my truck and vacuum out the interior.  Got it all done and went inside for lunch.  By the time I came out clouds rolled in and it poured for over an hour.  I think washing the truck jinxed my good weather day.

Unbroken sunshine here for a few days now. Had a jaunt yesterday - early on before it became too hot.
