Ive been out shooting at boats.....

Amazing how fast these ones can go,   mostly they were cruisng above 22mph.  Also notice on Pauline the lifeboat.

Speed mostly,   the M2P is a good 10mph faster than the Mini drones.

From the AIS data they go to and from VLISSINGEN NL,   I suspect they are bringing in new cars.

Which is terrible for trainspotting for sure.

Not too slow for everything,   chasing other boats in the creek the 22 is plenty,   but going out to catch these big ships I had to use sports mode to get catch them up.

I just looked up both boats and they do carry new cars for two different car manufactures.  The yellow and green on the roof is used as lanes for the cars.

For sure, not too slow for everything.
For static objects, it is ok, but for catching up with trains, not by a long stretch.
And especially if you are flying somewhere and all of a sudden you realize there is a train on the opposite side.
I have changed my tactics as good as I could, but still missed quite a few good shots that I would have gotten with the trusty old MP.

When I saw that it was a car carrier I just which boat my Dads new car had come in on and sadly it wasnt one of these,  he collected it this morning so having a pic of the boat for him would have been quite fun.

That must be why they have the flat main deck so as to give plenty of head room for the deck just below.  No doubt they can carry a large volume of cars.

With the mavic 2 pro you can move the camera up and down but also left and right,  so you can fly forward with all the OA sensors on and then put your finger on the screen and slide left to see if youve passed the ship your trying to catch up with,  or you may still be next to it.
