So I'm toying around with purchasing a 3D printer for hobby use on my P3 (and maybe some other things).  I don't want to spend a crap load for it, would like to keep it around $300-400 for something decent.  Doesn't need to be top of the line, BUT I do want to make some of the neat things I see on here too.  Any suggestions as to make, model, and what I would want as far as accessories for it?

Let me know how you like it and post some pictures of projects you've done when you get it!  I'm very interested in this!

Hey Jkeller84, did you ever get your 3D printer in and have time to test it out?  I've really been thinking of ordering this, but wanted to get some opinions first.  Let me know when you can.

I would look at the printrbot Play. Now $15%off too, last day.

I was considering this but I bought another makerbot dual (gen3) clone.

I did! Super easy to get setup and going. My only complaint is that there is not a heated bed. For the price tho, great starter unit

Awesome!  I see they still have it for the $350 price, but soon to raise it.  I'm wondering if the heated bed would be worth the extra cost.  I'll have to look into that.  Thanks for the update!!
