Phantom 3 Advanced not connecting with iPad

I am not sure what the problem is. However, my controller and aircraft link  together with no issues at all, but it will not connect with my iPad. I have the iPad Pro 12.9 (5th  generation).  I can never get to the camera view. I have tried replacing the cable, but to no avail.  My drone also has the latest firmware installed as well.  Can anybody offer any assistance? If there is a thread here, please feel free to point it out to me, and I will check it out. However, doing a search I could not find anything dealing with the newer 5th generation iPads and problems connecting with the controller.
