For the most part, I've been loving the RS3 and have found it to be a great asset...however one issue has been driving me up the wall and is really slowing down my production process.
Even after calibration (gimbal calibration and horizontal balance calibration) I get some pretty extreme horizon tilting, more noticeably when doing side panning shots with the gimbal locked via the trigger. As soon as I start to move sideways, the gimbal tilts sideways in the direction I'm moving, almost giving me an off-centred, FPV looking shot (not ideal for real estate videos).
I calibrate my gimbal often, after not using for a period of time as well as after lens changes, yet this issue still persists. No noticeable tilting in basic forward/backward moving shots, yet as soon as I lock the pan axis and do any sort of sideways movement, my camera begins to lean and the horizon becomes super unbalanced.
I shoot in PF, balance camera on gimbal perfectly each time, and haven't done any major setting changes apart from the joystick speed/sensitivity - in case any of this happens to assist any further.
Is anyone else having this problem? Has anyone found a solution?
Many thanks in advance.
