Seems they already have enough Beta testers, but I did send an email to volunteer if they need more.
FAA is trying to make it easier to know the rules of where / when you can fly using a smartphone app that you can check status updates based on location.

Thanks, but no thanks. Government has shown that they can't be trusted to protect the data they've been given (IRS and medical records) . Don't need any more spam calls than I already receive.

Imixed on this. I agree with ag0n says, but then again it could be very beneficial to us. Only time will tell i guess.

When in doubt about flight restrictions, call this  1-800-WX-BRIEF number. It is the latest and greatest list of flight restricted areas. Totally run by the government. Just pick up the phone and call.
