Hello all,
first post and new user so please be gentle

I have just bought a mini pro 3 and have a couple of questions.

Firstly on flying my mobile phone screen started going to sleep when the drone was in the air (iPhone 14 pro)

. All the joystick controls were working fine. ie left joystick, up, down, trun left and right. Right joystick forward, reverse move left/right.

So I brought the drone back to land.

Then I tried a second flight, screen still timing out, however I noticed this time that the drone wouldnt move left or right (with the right joystick) but would gor forwards and reverse (left joystick all working fine).

Any suggestions, thanks

Check if "Disable Sideways Flight" is enabled. I'm not sure about IOs, but there should be a setting to disable screen timeout per app.

Thanks, I found the disable sideways flight, thats fine now.

Will have a look if there is a setting like that. Strange thing is I had the phone on for much longer when setting up and getting a bit used to it and it didnt lock up. Will see if I can find a setting.

Yes, that might do, thanks.

Although I charged the phone up to 85% and tried again and it didnt go to sleep. Maybe it is something to do with the fact it was about 30% charged.

Hi, Rallye. Thank you for reaching out. There are no screen time settings or limits in the app, please further check your phone settings. Kindly set the screen lock time to Never and test again. Please keep us posted.

Hey there, it's super frustrating when your iPhone doesn't go to sleep like it's supposed to, right?  It's a real battery hog!  There are a few things that could be causing this.
Check your settings:- Sometimes a setting might be accidentally turned on that's keeping your screen awake. Go into your Settings app and look under Display & Brightness. Make sure Auto-Lock is set to the time you want your screen to turn off. Also, check if Raise to Wake is enabled. If you have a case on, it might be accidentally triggering this feature.
Look for any apps misbehaving:- Some apps can keep your phone awake even when you're not using them. Go to Settings > Battery. This will show you a list of apps that are using the most battery. If you see any apps that seem to be using a lot of power even when you're not actively using them, try closing them completely or even reinstalling them.
Check for any software updates:- Apple regularly releases software updates that often include bug fixes and improvements, including fixes for issues that might be preventing your phone from sleeping properly. Go to Settings > General > Software Update to check for any available updates.

If you have problem persist after trying these solution, you can follow for more details instruction below.
