This has happened to me twice now where I had a good Home location but when I tapped Return to Home, it didn't give me that option, only the option to land.

In both cases I had to manually fly back to the Home point which was not a major deal, but just wondering why that happened.  I had good GPS signals.

1. Make sure the GPS signal is good and Home Point has been updated in the App.
2. Please take off the drone and fly. This button will be changed to the RTH button.
3. Reinstall the DJI Fly App.

How far away from HomePoint was the drone when activating RTH?
If close to Home than it will indeed shows only the option to land.

So no need to reinstall the FlyApp ect....

Yes, I was trying to be polite by not commenting on that but their replies often seem to be boilerplate, from macros or something where it sounds like they didn't even really read the post at all.   

Anyway,  thanks a lot for the answer.   As soon as you said it I immediately recalled reading it in the manual and felt like a dunce. lol

depends on the drone type

Just fly out 5 meter and try...10 meters and try, 15 meters  etc

MINI3PRO needs to be at least  20 meter away form HP.

Check the RTH section in the manual for your model.
It's probably the most important section of the manual.
