DJI When are the new voices coming to the DJI RC?

Seems when the new app versions are launched the DJI RC is left at the end of the queue to be updated?

I missed this. What's wrong with the old ones?

You're right as so far the RC has lagged behind in getting timely Fly App updates.  Just another reason I like my RC Pro as it can be updated as soon as a revised Fly App version is released.

Absolutely nothing... The old ones are much better than the new one...

The 1.10.6 is a patch to fix the 1.10.4, making the 1.10.0 still the safest bet to be on...

DJI Wanda why dont they update the app so it updates on the RC they same way as the RC Pro does?

Or rather the opposite.   The RC Pro gets the update on day 1 and were still waiting 2 updates later.

Stop fretting about it - it's not affecting the handling capabilities of your drone, is it.

This misc bug fixes and improvements could make all the difference.

Apparently one "Bug" fix prevented setting max height to more than 120m.
Sounds like a backward step to me.  Although the subsequent update may have fixed that as well.
I'm sticking to my current version for the time being.

My guess is that the Fly app is updated with firmware updates accompanied with the Mini 3 Pro for instance. Whereas with the RC Pro and phones/tablets the Fly app can be updated by simply installing the latest APK.  Just a guess...

Thats just as design choice on DJI's part.   That said Ive not tried installing the app on the RC controller.

You really can't aside from refreshing it with the computer.

I can’t see why I couldn’t install it the same way that I installed a launcher and a notes app.

I’ve not tested it but the syntax to do that is

adb install -s yourapp.apk

Because DJI would like to sell to someone who wants to spend more money, high end product named as Pro.

Personally i don't think anyone buys RC Pro because APK installation ability, everybody has smartphones.

DJI please stop doing that kind of foolish marketing strategies. There is high and and lowend smartphones with same software. People buys both even. Make the difference on casing, screen, cpu speed etc.

Ive installed a couple of apks on my DJI RC but Ive not really used them as much as Id expected.

More likely more restrictions, like that 120 meter cap for EU users.

That 120m cap got reversed though,  I was just hoping for a few bug fixes.     Ive had the app crash when moving the histogram around,  and the other day I accidentally went into the album mid flight and the little triangle to get back didnt appear so I had to reboot the controller mid flight.
