I had plans for buying a second OA3 from the beginning, but still haven't so it will be OA4 too.

Have you checked how big the sensor is compared to other cameras? Theese are not rumors they are leaks.

Why haven’t dji got onto advance advertising? No mention anywhere othe than from YouTubers trying to get subs. You’d think DJI would have started up a campaign, or are they so confident, they won’t bother? They could at least beat GoPro to the sales or maybe worried that GoPro will take some features?

It's they policy, and I wish they could announce better in advance.

Maybe they do like Apple, let their customers advertise with their rumors.

Returned my Osmo Action 3, great during the day but terrible at night

Hopefully this increased size sensor may help matters
Release date looks like mid August

Stunning low light sound great

so the box leaks but still any actual   footage from these  leaks

Footage will probably just look like normal with good focus

DJI  only takes suggestions here, and passes to the trash bin to create their latest camera. so seems that all of us, including you Johan.....   either can sell or keep as a backup camera and wait on the anticipated A4 in 3 weeks time release date Sept 2023 labour day. along with other competitors taht are  the  hate people you so call....

As mentioned in the vid - if you output in prores - then compress with a good codec you can maximize the IQ.

Not as as good as the Action 2 - but perfectly acceptable for social media consumption.  Surprisingly - most viewers never talk about IQ.  Is always about the crazy drone super wide angle shots from near impossible angles.  360 is special as well.

Yeah it looks really bad, all the left hand side completely out of focus with abnormal sun flares shadows so dark and edges all around are mush. As an example this one is dreadful..

But because of the huge DJI close focus fiasco with so many returned units
DJI lost such a massive opportunity to make gains against GoPro
Dropping the Action 3 soon makes a lot of good business sense
To get well ahead of GP + slow down so many Insta360 buys

Changing specs to 40cm close focus
Increasing sensor size
4K horizon steady over 360 vs partial
Price bump
May be enough
But proper implementation of invisible selfie would help as well

That is why I recommended to wait for the Action 4
Just need bonafide users to review and test for real use problems
Not ones that did not pay - but were given a pre-release to free advertise

The only influencers that have any worthwhile integrity
Are ones that buy and test the units themselves
Then give totally unbiased reviews
Good and or bad

Those few deserve 100% respect and appreciation
Plus followers and social media money that is truly earned
Others meh - waste of time - look like complete buffoons

But my guess is that DJI management learned a very valuable lesson
So here is hoping for their sake they can get it right - out of the gate

Insta also have a camera with 1 inch sensor, so I wish we could see it one day in a DJI camera aswell. But it will probably be really expensive.

Pocket 3, they should make one where we can switch out the battery.

Mr Whitetech has got the release date wrong, so it hasn’t happened. The Pocket 3 release has been swimming around for quite some time now as well.

Yes, the Pocket could use a swappable battery.

The Insta with 1 inch sensor module is quite expensive and I think that once they start to get closer to around £500, it’s getting a bit much.

That twitter account wrote 3 of August but I doubt that early, September earliest
