I spotted another TEL with the Mini 3 Pro.


So long story short,   just recently I filmed the launching of the orginal TEL, (totally enclosed lifeboat) which I now understand to tbe onroute to the artic for a base for expeditions.  

And then this morning whilst taking a cruise over the boat yard desperate for inspiration,  I spotted another one.    The orginal had been brought down from scotland to be refitted,  so Im wondering if this is the same deal.

Hiding amongst the other craft - but you spotted it anyway.  The bright dayglo orange may have helped

That colour did make it stand out from quite a distance.   The other one had been repainted when it was in the boat yard and this one looks like it could need some love.

Let's hope they are not going to motor it down there,  or it may not happen in my lifetime.

If it is headed to the South Pole I'm betting they will use a Lift of Opportunity.  Here's an example of a Lift of Opportunity:

Well at least if the ship hits a big wave the cargo can float.


I have no idea whats happening with this one,    that South Pole was just something Mr B floated.

Some good camo covering might work.  That bright orange is a dead giveaway when it is not covered.  Maybe something like this but much bigger might work.

Alan is being sailed up to the artic as an emergency base camp for artic expeditions,  the guy that is refitting it is a famous artic explorer.
